The Award Night is a formal black-tie affair. We encourage attendees to wear formal or semi-formal attire. Traditional African formal wear is also welcomed and celebrated. The after parties have a smart-casual dress code.
Parking availability varies by venue. Lisner Auditorium has nearby paid parking garages. We strongly recommend using rideshare services (Uber/Lyft) for the DC venues, especially for the Saturday evening events. Kaldi's Rooftop and Albert Einstein High School have on-site or nearby parking.
The LEA Welcome Party, After Party at Karma, and Sunday Day Party are 21+ events. Valid government-issued ID is required for entry. The Basketball Game is open to all ages. The Award Night is 18+ with limited family sections available.
Tickets are non-refundable but are fully transferable. If the event is cancelled by the organizers, full refunds will be issued. For ticket transfers, please contact our support team at least 48 hours before the event date.
Yes. All venues are ADA-compliant. Please indicate accessibility requirements during ticket purchase or contact us directly so we can make the appropriate arrangements for your experience.
We strongly recommend purchasing tickets in advance as events may sell out. Limited door tickets may be available at a higher price point, but we cannot guarantee availability especially for the Award Night and VIP packages.
